Love it. Really heavy duty. Strong afternoon storms are no match for it. A little blowing rain will come in from the top but very manageable. Great Purchase.
We assembled the gazebo ourselves with no trouble ( other than the extreme hot weather). The screen curtain was included with the gazebo, we ordered the sunscreen separately. Both were super simple to install and look absolutely amazing !! We love our new gazebo - it replaced a soft top gazebo. Thank you for manufacturing a prime product !!
I'm so bummed. I live in a suburb of Chicago . We got a tornado ,and it pulled the canopy roof vent completely off and blew it to God knows where. Doesn't look like this website sells just the roof vent and frame. Does anyone know where to buy just the roof vent ?
The instructions are very clear and my husband and I assembled it ourselves. About 80% of it was done by my husband alone, but the rest we did together. You definitely need 2 people to put on the roof panels. Easy-Peasey lemon squeezey!!! We are in our 60s and did great. If the weather is good it’ll take you 2-3 days to complete. (Probably 2 days if you’re in your 30s and 40s).
One of the parts got bent by an object. Damaged it from the windstorm. Got a replacement within days. Took out a few screws to put the new one in and looks brand new. Customer service was very helpful and concerned about my situation and shipped the part to me quickly. Got it again like I said in a few days.
The whole experience with sun n shade has been great ! I called backyard creations and the lady said that they don't have parts ! I was disappointed ! There must be a way ! I received the call from hunter and he sent me the link and the new parts were on the way!
I've put in cement bases based on the dimensions that hunter provied and it's now secured !
As far as the repair , the gazebo was on it side , D1, and D2 were bent, we removed them and stood the unit back up on all 4's and replaced the lentals ( with help steadying the unit) it steady back up and we put a person on each corner we placed it back on it spot! It came out level and all 4 columns are on the money!!!

This is going to be a perfect addition to our gazebo! We've just added a 'three season room' to our deck that will lengthen the time we can use it before it snows! It was easy to put up, and the panels slide back nicely when we want them out of the way. Thanks for a great product.
There are lots of parts and you will need to be organized. The instructions are well done and all the parts are there (but no extras). An electric screw-driver fitted with a 10mm socket head is very useful because there are many bolts. Get them sorted and organized. Make sure you all the parts dumped out of the 4 corner posts.
I had an 8 foot step ladder with side railings, almost essential for doing the top vent and roof panels.
Before beginning, I gave everything an extra coat of black Rustoleum and a coat of silicone roofing paint on the roof panels. The powder coat seemed a little thin and easily scraped.
I also made a 6" X 10.5 X 12.5 foot concrete pad and used anchor bolts to secure the gazebo.
Assembly took almost a week by myself (with help needed only for the framing for the vent), including the painting.
It looks great and the mosquito netting and plastic shower curtain-like outer cover are heavy duty and good quality.
For the money, a great shelter if you have the patience to assemble on your own.
Customer service was great (but took a while to get through).
Overall, we are happy with the 10'x12' Duncan Gazebo. The assembly is time consuming and took us over 8 hours to assemble. However, the instructions were clear, and everything lined up and went together as it should. I was also impressed with the packaging, that nothing was scratched, and how the 2 boxes that it came in fit in my mid-sized truck. The roof was a bit difficult to get started on each side, but doable with 2 people. Better overall than I expected.
The gazebo construction is 5 stars. It is incredibly sturdy. The pieces fit together like a glove! The packaging was impressive and extremely reorganized. My husband and two friends assembled it in about 6 hrs after having removed from packaging and laying out parts in advance. The only negative is the screening added, perhaps to this years model, in the peak area to keep out mosquitoes. There are no instructions in paperwork or in video. It looks like it was an afterthought. It would keep out a bird but certainly not mosquitos with the gaps, after it is applied with the Velcro straps up in there. That is the only thing reducing it to 4 stars. We have since constructed our own Velcro and screen cover which will work perfect. That being said, it is a fantastic structure for the money and we are thrilled with it overall. We would purchase again and our neighbor at our cottage is planning on buying one too. Great customer service and delivery was exactly as promised.
From prep, assembly, finish, customer service & a cover purchased later. The instructions were clear making the process come together with ease. We are most impressed. Staff are prompt and knowledgable on every front and question - with timely turnaround. We highly recommend their products!!
Very easy! Just wish I had thought about putting a hole in the tarp that covers the furniture BEFORE I had the pole all put into place. 🤪. Nothing like doing something twice!
It was easy to put together. Direction were easy to follow. Went to web site to order weather curtin easy to find what I was looking for. We are very pleased with our Graint Pick purchase.
